Job Title - Accessibility Testing Engineer
Relevant Experience - 10+ years
Must Have
Technical/Functional Skills -
· Good understanding of accessibility standards, laws pertaining to different geographies, WCAG, Section 508,AODA · Strong capabilities in Front end design, development and implementation · Should have expertise in technical knowledge like HTML, CSS, JAVA Script, ARIA, JQuery · Should have worked to implement accessibility across various technology like angular JS, ext JS · Identify strategy for making applications accessible and provide remediation solutions based on the type of assessment · Should have knowledge of Assistive Technology like NVDA,JAWS, voice over etc. · Should be able to create user centric designs · Conduct accessibility testing on Web and Mobile applications, including keyboard navigation, screen readers, and color
contrast tools. · Understand how people with different disabilities use assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers, screen magnifiers, keyboard-only access). · Clearly present testing results, status, and ideas in both written and verbal formats. · Provide technical assistance and remediation guidance to designers, developers and QA. · Recommend potential solutions by evaluating new and emerging assistive technologies designed to increase accessibility. Prepare comprehensive accessibility compliance test reports for web and mobile.
